↠  The BusinessLine Quiz 2023 in an online format is an individual participation event and will be entirely conducted online.

↠  This event is exclusively open to Indian residents residing within India.

↠  There is no entry fee.

↠  An unlimited number of individuals from a company, organization, government department, institution, or startup ('Entity') can participate in the quiz.

↠  The competition is open to full-time, bona fide working professionals from corporates, organisations, public or private sector enterprises, government departments, institutions, startups, and other professions. Freelancers are also welcome.

↠  Participants should select their location in the online registration form based on their workplace, not their residence. Freelancers and self-employed individuals can register from their place of residence.

↠  There will be 6 virtual city finals, and individuals will be assigned a region based on the location mentioned in their registration form.

↠  All registered participants will receive a confirmation email after their registration is verified.

↠  Detailed instructions regarding the all-India preliminary round will be provided to all registered participants before the specified date.

↠  The top 6 participants from each region will qualify for the city finals.

↠  If any of the top 6 participants from a region drop out, the next highest scorer will be invited to the finals after proper verification.

↠  Winners from each region will earn qualification for the national final.

↠  The participant with the highest score in the national finals will be declared the overall winner.

↠  All participants must possess valid photo identification of the Entity they represent and must produce it upon request.

↠  The entire event is being organized on a digital platform due to the ongoing pandemic situation. Participants acknowledge that the Organisers will not be responsible for their internet connectivity, which is necessary for all stages of the quiz. Participants are responsible for ensuring reliable internet access.

↠  The Organisers will strive to ensure the functionality of software, servers, and other technical requirements. However, they will not be held responsible for any unforeseen failures on their end.

↠  The organisers retain the right to modify the event's format, date, rules, and other related aspects before or during the event.

↠  The organisers have the right to accept or reject any registration/application and/or entry to the event.

↠  By participating in the event, attendees grant permission to be photographed, videographed, or recorded by electronic and print media for telecast, publication, and other promotional purposes by the organisers.

↠  Registering for the event implies acceptance that the organisers' and quizmaster's decisions will be final and binding on all matters related to the BL Quiz. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

↠  By registering, participants consent to these terms and acknowledge that the organisers may send them communications about BL Quiz or other initiatives.

↠  Awarded prizes are final and non-exchangeable/non-substitutable.

↠  Neither the Organisers nor sponsors, employees, consultants, agents, or third-party service providers may be held liable for any claims, costs, damages, injuries, etc., resulting from the use of the prize by the winner.

↠  In case of unavailability, the organisers may substitute the prize at their discretion.

↠  Tax liabilities, if applicable, will be the responsibility of prize recipients.

↠  The organizer reserves the right to alter or modify contest rules without prior notice.

↠  Participants and winners are informed that government ID cards, bank details, etc., may be collected offline and online for communication purposes regarding their participation, winnings, and prize distribution.

↠  This is an individual participation event, and participants must compete on their own without proxies, assistance from others, family members, or external sources at any quiz stage. Organisers reserve the right to cancel any participant's involvement in case of any rule violations.
